Omnipay Signed A Deal With Weymouth FC As Their Global Payment Partner

Weymouth FC is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with OmniPay Limited, making them the club’s official payment partner. 

OmniPay’s partnership will include the utilisation of various club platforms, such as branding on the first team home kit, digital activation, and visual stadium branding, furthermore OmniPay shall aid The Terras by fueling payments for the club’s connected businesses.

Weymouth Football Club, affiliated with the Dorset County Football Association, is an English semi-professional football club based in the serene seaside town of Weymouth in Dorset along the south coast of the UK. Founded in 1890, it is now an FA Standard club currently competing in the National League.

The club was forced to dissolve in 1939 as their land had been occupied for the war effort during the Second World War, but they came back more vital than ever in 1947, reclaiming their position back into the Southern League. 

The highlights of Weymouth FC’s many achievements are winning the Southern League Premier Division Champions vs. Champions Shield in 2018-19, securing the championship in the 2018-19 Southern League Premier South, and winning the 2005-6 and 2019-20 National League South respectively. 

On 1st August 2020, they were promoted to the National League after winning the play-off match. They play their home matches at Bob Lucas Stadium (formerly the Wessex Stadium).
